... the merrier! In the early 50ies the family of Kaethe and Kurt consisted not only of their son Rainer and their siblings but also of 40 employees. This was quite a copious growth!

The Thiele family has never merely paid lip service to the term “family-business” but have realized it’s values in their understanding of leadership.

One employee remembers: “Kaethe and Kurt Thiele cultivated a spirit of companionship. Especially during the holiday season, this spirit could be sensed. Kaethe organized presents for all of us and our families – even though this wasn’t easy these days. But she always managed to surprise us! Over and above, homemade Stollen with whipped cream was served – no implicitness at all in 1951 but quite a luxurious treat!”
