Cheese Cake German Style
Variation of: Kathi’s Fruity Cheese Cake
You will need:
1 package of Kathi’s Fruity Cheese Cake
For the dough: 1 egg, 3 oz (90g) butter or margarine
For the filling: 18 oz (500g) curd cheese (Quark), 12 fl oz (350ml) milk
Baking Pan:
springform pan Ø 10 inch (Ø 26cm)
Baking Time:
approx. 60 minutes
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 360°F (180°C). Generously grease and lightly flour the springform pan.
- Prepare baking mix for the dough as instructed on the backside of the baking mix.
- Fill crumbs in the prepared baking pan and press the dough onto bottom and halfway up the rim.
- In another bowl, blend the curd cheese with the milk, then add the mix for the filling. Beat until smooth, then pour into prepared crust and smoothen it out.
- Bake in preheated oven for about 60 minutes and proceed according to the instructions on the packaging.
Special tip: add drained or fresh cherries into the filling - yummy!
